Add Audio Calling with PurpleCallio
PurpleCallio supports 1:1 browser audio calls through hosted UI, React components, and the headless JavaScript SDK.
Permissions and devices
Participants grant microphone permission in their browser. Use the React device tools or your own headless SDK interface to select available audio devices.
Mute and connection state
Audio controls can mute or unmute the microphone while the meeting connection state shows whether the participant is connected.
Audio billing
Audio usage is measured in audio participant-minutes. It is tracked separately from video and screen-sharing usage.
